The Bird Cage Boutique is an “accidental boutique” located in the  town of Salem and in the Downtown Roanoke Business District Virginia.

Gwenda Kellett, owner and operator, had already been successfully established in the Roanoke Valley since 2001 with Plantagenet Rose Interiors and Gift Boutique.  Always carrying a small selection of jewelry, purses and scarves, Gwenda slowly began incorporating various items of clothing to the delight of customers.  As the demand grew, our “accidental boutique” was born.

Located at 16 S. College Avenue in Salem, The Bird Cage proudly carries brands including but not limited to: Roxanne Kelly Designs, Joseph Ribkof, Beatrix Ost, Waxing Poetic, Ariva Fine Jewelry, Echo Verde, Bobi, Jolibel, Alternative Apparel, Natural Life, Rubberband Jeans, Latico Leather, Shiraleah, Heartstrings, Coco and Carmen, and much more.
